Dr. Hanson has served as the Policy Director as well as a Board Member for the Sustainability Alliance of Southern California. He is the Secretary of the Board of Understanding Climate Change, LLC, an affiliate of Rotary International. He also has spoken and assisted with a series of Green Conferences at UCSD and SDSU in conjunction with the United GREEN Division of the Heartland Coalition. Ed Mazria of Architecture 2030, Senator Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Lt. Governor Garamendi, and Governor Schwarzenegger have been past scheduled speakers.

Ming Yang Yeh, founder of Ming Yang Yeh and Associates, Inc., has been involved in the fields of civil and structural engineering for more than thirty years in Southern California. He has participated actively in the structural design of commercial, municipal, residential and industrial projects of different types, and has directed the firm's work for over a thousand projects.
